Long distance can be a problem especially when choosing to buy a property. For this reason we encourage you to come and visit us as early as possible prior to any purchase arrangements. Upon your arrival we will be more than happy to meet with you at your convenience, assist you with any enquiries that you may have regarding your home ideas and work together in order to design, plan and build your perfect home! However, travelling is not always easy (due to working and financial conditions). Our presales services ensure that a pre-screening of a property can be done.
- From receipt of your questionnaire we begin working on your behalf:
- Selecting suitable properties
- Forwarding you all details, including description of surrounding area, description of the property/plot and usually, drawings, sketches or photographs.
- Commence A Personalised Search if requested and a selection of suitable properties/plots, details and photographs will be sent direct to you.
- When you decide to come to Kefalonia to view your selected choices of properties/plots, we can assist you with accommodation if requested, as well as car hire or collection from the Airport.
- At a pre-arranged mutually convenient date and time, we will meet at our office in Argostoli and will discuss in full all your ideas and answer your questions.
- We will personally take you around to the relevent properties/plots, following an organised itinerary.
- If you do not speak English or Greek, we will arrange for a translator to be with us at all times, in order for us to converse in your native language.
- As professional engineers, we can offer design suggestions, architectural solutions and immediate answers to your queries in request to technical and maintenance issues related to construction.
- Once you have chosen the property or plot we take you through the purchasing process step by step and give you a Guideline Process book for you to study.
- When you choose the perfect location on which to build, we will show you examples of houses that we have designed and built. A complete report of detailed estimates will be prepared for you, fully adjusted to your needs and requirement.
- We can offer you literature in all European Community languages covering various aspects of living and/or working in Greece for your review.
- If you wish to open a bank account in Kefalonia, we will inform you about the banks.
- You will be supplied with full details of a local Lawyer, Power of Attorney, Accountant and if necessary be accompanied to their offices in order to process the relevant paperwork.
- After the contracts are signed and you are the owner of your property we are still available to assist you in any way we can, whether it is assisting you in ordering and purchasing furniture, electrical equipment, garden materials, as well as purchasing a Greek registered car or motor bike. We can advise you on work and recreational possibilities.
- If you ship all your belongings over in a container and problems arise with the removal company, the shippers or even with Customs agents and you are unable to deal with them, we will endeavour to solve these for you via our office.
